CDC warns of new swine flu strain
ATLANTA — The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have confirmed three cases of a new flu virus, according to USA Today. The virus originated in pigs but has spread from person to person, infecting three Iowa children, the article stated. According to the article, the CDC says, however, that this is not the beginning of another widespread pandemic. "I don't think this is anything to worry about for the moment," said Arnold Monto, a flu expert and professor at the University of Michigan's School of Public Health. http://www.cmmonline.com/infection-control/article/cdc-warns-of-new-swine-flu-strain
